Build a personal letter to your Member of Parliament objecting to mandatory online age verification. Pick the concerns that apply to you, add a few words of your own, then send it from your own email account.
Keeping children away from genuinely harmful content is a goal worth pursuing โ no one disputes that. The problem is how it's being done. Our age is already provable many times over, yet these rules pile on extra, invasive checks โ face scans, ID uploads, even being pushed to get a credit card โ each one storing data we never wanted stored and handing over information we'd rather keep private. That isn't keeping children safe; it's redundant over-collection that burdens law-abiding adults, overrides personal freedom, and sidelines the parents best placed to make these calls. Protecting children and respecting adults aren't in conflict โ and we shouldn't accept measures that sacrifice the second in the name of the first.
๐ Private by design โ nothing you type leaves your device unless you choose to send it. How this works โ
These only go into the signature. They stay in your browser and are never sent to an AI.
Enter your suburb and postcode above and your MP will appear here.
Tap the ones that are true for you. Two to four makes a stronger letter than all nine.
MPs' offices often count identical campaign letters as one. A sentence or two about why this matters to you makes yours count.
The built-in writer drafts a letter from your choices. Your name, address and email are never sent โ only your selected concerns and your own words.
Opens ChatGPT or Claude with your concerns and your own words filled in, using your own account. Your name and address are left out. Copy the result and paste it below.
"Email app" may not open on every device. If nothing happens, copy the addresses and the letter into a new email.
Everything you type is handled in your browser, on your device. Here is precisely what is sent, where, to whom, and when โ and what is never sent.
1. While you build your letter โ nothing you type is sent anywhere. The page runs entirely on your device. There is no account and no database, and nothing you enter is saved: close the tab and it's gone.
2. If you use the built-in "Write it for me" writer โ your browser sends a request to this site's writing service, which runs on our host, Cloudflare, and uses Cloudflare's AI. That request contains only: the concerns you ticked, roughly how old your accounts are, the tone you chose, your electorate's name, and the paragraph you wrote in "your own words." It never contains your name, street address, email, suburb or postcode โ those are not sent to this site, to Cloudflare, or to the AI. We don't store the request or log what you wrote. (Because your paragraph is sent, it's best not to put your name or address in it.)
3. If you use the "Draft with ChatGPT" or "Draft with Claude" buttons โ these open ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Claude (Anthropic) in your browser, under your own account, carrying that same limited prompt (concerns, your paragraph, electorate, tone). Again, no name, address, email, suburb or postcode. From there the draft lives in your own AI account, under that company's terms.
4. When you send the letter โ you send it yourself, from your own email (Gmail, Outlook, or your mail app). We never see your email, your letter, or who you send it to. One honest note: the finished letter does include your name and address in the signature โ because that's what you're choosing to send to your MP, and electorate offices use it to confirm you're a local constituent. That is the one place your details travel, and only when you press send.
5. No cookies, no tracking, no profile of you. (If simple page-view counting is ever switched on, it uses a cookie-free method that can't identify you.)
What this page connects to, for transparency: our host, Cloudflare (serving the page, and โ only if the built-in writer is enabled โ running it and a Cloudflare anti-spam check, Turnstile). Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. Nothing here receives what you type.
